So, I'm looking for someone, or a couple people to become friends with, and train with so that come spring, we can have a trip to Chicago. I'm not incredibly great at biking, but am interested in it, and thought it'll probably be easier with a couple of people interested in doing the same.

And if it sounds crazy, it... totally is... Think of it as a bicycle adventure.

It doesn't really matter what shape you're in right now, as long as you're interested, and think you'll be able to hold out for a trip all the way to Chicago. I'm not interested in looking "sporty" or being one of those racer teams, but more of a casual one or two day trip to Chicago (and maybe, back, if you're interested). If you have experience, then by all means, please contact me (I have no clue how to get to Chicago just yet). I'm a guy, but by all means, any gender, race, sexual orientation (brothers, sisters, and somewhere-in-between-ers). I'm also currently a freshman, which means I don't have that many friends from around here just yet, so if you find yourself in the same predicament, I offer my friendship.

Email me, I'll friend you on Facebook or something, and eventually we can come up with a plan for this coming spring, get training, learn about bikes, all that jazz.

Oh, also, since Kankakee, IL is also along the way, we might as well stop there too if you're interested in going there.
It would also probably be helpful if you have a road or hyrbid bicycle, but no worries, we can make it work out.
