There are only 2 weeks left to draw a Rhino head for the Station Theatre production of "Rhinoceros" by Eugene Ionesco.
In the final scene of the play, the stage is overrun by Rhino heads. The director would like these heads to all be unique and different. Thus, we are looking for renderings of any medium, colour, style, etc from the local art community. All that we ask is that they be recognizable as a Rhinoceros, and as close to life size as possible (approx 24" accross).
Ridgid mountings are helpful, but please feel free to express your creativity.
In exchange, we can offer you recognition in the program, and a complimentary ticket for a night of performance.
Drop off sites are:
The Heartland Gallery, Main St. Urbana
The Station Theatre, Broadway, Urbana (Performance Nights of Zombie Prom Only)
Arrangement with me through email.
This is a wonderful opportunity to foster a vibrant and connected artistic community!
Best,
Eric Burton,
Director, "Rhinoceros"
