the sub is rated at 1000 watts rms but since its fully loaded it can take over 1500. this sub is insane. i guarentee you will have the loudest 10" sub you have ever heard, and people are going to think that u have 2 12"s. it also hits the low notes really good. it is a great all around sub.

I have my old system, got married and my life suddenly got quieter! I�ve a Rockford Fosgate Amp hit very hard, too hard actually. Blew up one of my subs. That�s why I have a single punch #1 sub and a dual box. it�s a professional box, not cheap. Very heavy actually. To cover the subs I have 2 metal grate covers. The plexi-glass in the picture is me trying to rig a ported box but couldn�t get it to sound right. Now that I think about it, just a piece of plywood with a hole in it and sealed with some silicone probably would work just fine. I also have all the wire you�ll need with an in line fuse. Can�t remember the gauge but I think it was 79 bucks all together back 5 years ago. This stuff has just been sitting for 3 years not being used. Then I have my wife�s generic subs �Pro Series� never hooked an amp up to them but they will give bass, gave plenty just being hooked up to my CD player. I think that setup comes from like walmart probably 100 bucks new with the subs and the box. Also have a Stock CD player from a 99 sunfire. Ill just throw that in I don�t know if you can put that in a different car it has some kind of theft lock on it, guess it�s non functional. Anyways, I figure that if you take some time and save up for the subs you want then you have everything else you need here and you could get a really nice set of subs. Sell the other stuff to your little brother or something.
