I do have to drop off my son at school (which is 1 1/2 blocks away) at 8:10 every morning so if you need someone before 8:10 just be aware that I will be driving to the school M-F mornings. Also I pick him up at 3 pm. If the weather is nice my daughter and I walk to get him but if not, again, I will be driving to pick him up.
We live in a nice, established neighborhood in SE Urbana with a fenced in backyard that backs up to an Urbana Park District park. Currently I do not watch any other children but my daughter and I do lots of fun activities and enjoy playing inside and out.
My mother ran a daycare center when I was a child and I am very familiar with what it takes to make a daycare run smoothly. I would have our days structured mostly like a daycare center and I have a preschool/daycare program that I use called Mother Goose Time that includes fun activities & learning everyday. We have a bi-level house and our entire lower level is set up with different stations for play. We have a kitchen area, a workbench, a craft desk & easel for arts & crafts, we have an indoor playhouse, play-dough area and much more.
I always provide healthy, well-balanced meals and snacks but can accommodate children with any allergies or specific preferences.
I can watch children from infants up to school-aged children.
My fee is $175/week for full-time and $100/week for part-time.
