Availability - One bedroom in a four bedroom apartment.
About your roommates:
Number - Yes, the other three bedrooms are filled. All your apartment mates are undergraduates engineers at UIUC. This is a co-ed apartment with 1 girl and 2 guys currently.
Noise - The house is quiet most of the times during the week. During the weekend the day is quiet as well (everyone is mostly in theiir own rooms). Weekend nights can get late and noisy with friends coming over, drinks etc. This is not the scene every weekend but it is not rare either.
Smoke - None of your apartment mates smoke cigarettes. Guests that come to the house do not smoke in the apartment. They go outside. However, Hooka is smoked in the house once in a while.
You will be able to meet your roommates if you are on campus this semester, if you do want to meet them in advance. They are friendly, considerate and get along well with most people. Ofcourse, you can see the apartment as well at the same time.
There are dishes, pots, pans, glasses etc. in the apartment. Those will be shared with you. However, they belong to your apartment mates and me (i.e. they do not belong to the landlord). Therefore, they will leave along with the last roommate that leaves the apartment at the end of the lease.
About the apartment:
Security: We are on the ground floor. However, it is a gated apartment. We have not had any security issues so far.
Utilities: 240 does not include water, electricity/gas, internet. These come to about 51$, 121$,45$ respectively. You will be responsible for one-fourth of the utilities.
Common areas: Kitchen, Living room, Dining room, bathrooms.
