You honestly CANNOT find a better 1 bedroom apartment. I am only having to sublet my lease because I am a medical student that will be going to Chicago in the fall instead of staying here in Urbana. The lease starts Aug. 21 2008 and goes through Aug. 5 2009. These Krannert View apartments were all leased way back in October of last year, because they are in such high demand. I have a parking spot with the place, they charge 50 dollars a month, but you get your own space and its ONLY A BLOCK AWAY from the quad. People pay hundreds more just for a parking spot that isn't even as close as this! It has hardwood floors, cast iron tub, a ton of character. There is a good amount of closet space. The neighbors are reasonably quiet and polite. The leasing office quickly responds to maintenance requests and have always been helpful. I have been here for nearly a year and if it wasn't for an opportunity to move in with friends I would definitely stay.

Nice rehabed apt. This place has just been redone. It has newer carpet, newer floors in the kitchen and bath. The Bath has been "rebathed" or redone. The Windows are new as well as the siding. This place gets alot of sunshine and is in a nice area. Since the A/C heater and the windows are all new this means that the utilities on it run only about $ 30 a month and I have never paid more than $45 even during the coldest winters and the warmest summer days.The space is a nice 400 square feet and it is quiet. I am looking to sublease my room out from really any time as soon as possible, until the end of March 2009. I will be moving out to San Diego in November and was looking to move back with my parents for a bit to save some more money.

It is a 2 story 2 bdr 1 1/2 bath townhouse in Rantoul, IL, 15 miles north of Urbana on 45. Utilities are not included in this but the total I have paid thus far has been no more than 350 total which is awesome. It will all be completely furnished except for your room. I do need to take my things with me, but everything else is there...couch, kitchen table, bar, tv in the livivng room....etc. There is also a washer and dryer in the townhouse. Even better =) My roommate is a really good 22 year old guy who really isn't home all that much. He does have a Pug puppy and animals are welcome here if you do have one. Honestly, there aren't really any neighbors real close by so it's always really quiet. I am seriously looking for a really good roommate for him, guy or girl it doesn't really matter, as long as you are nice, at least semi quiet, and semi neat/clean. I don't smoke, and he doesn't smoke in the house so if you are smoker, we would prefer that you do it outside.

It really is a great place, it's just that I will be moving out of the state otherwise I would definitely stay. Please send me an email if you are interested at all. It's really cheap and isn't far from town at all.
