It's a huge two bedroom apartment with one bath and full newly furbished furniture and kitchen on the U of I campus.

Free parking. Water and trash is also included. County Market is right across the back of the apartment building. Apartment building is always very quiet because almost all the occupants are graduate students. Laundry and dryer are also in the separate room on the same floor. Landlord is also very responsive and fixes any problems you might face right away.

Right now, me and my sister live here and we both will be out of town for a month for winter break so if you are looking for temporary place that is in great shape, in strategic location and is cheap, this is the place. We originally pay $625 per month but for winter break I'm lowering it to $390 for two people.

This place is right on the main bus line that gets served every five minutes by the 12 Teal, 100 Yellow, 9 Brown and 2 Red. This place is in primo location to enjoy everything Downtown Champaign has to offer. It's next to Mike & Molly's bar, Seven Saints is just around the corner, and the Illinois Terminal is practically across the street. Located on a one-way street, North Market St., near the News-Gazette print plant, there is an empty store/office space underneath the apartment.

The apartment was completely refurbished in 2007. It has wooden floors throughout, carpeted bedrooms, tile floors in kitchen and bathroom. All energy efficient appliances (some had to be bought out of state for their availability). Emergency fire sprinkler system throughtout apartment leftover from when this was a business, and brand new fire alarms. All energy efficient appliances. Thermostat is digital and allows for setting depending on time of day.

Utilities: My November electric bill is less than $70, and my water bill is about $30 per month.
The apartment is pre-wired for both cable and satellite, I think. There are a lot of coaxil cable jacks built into the walls, and a satellite dish on the exterior of the building, but I never subscribed to either service. Landline phone jacks are also in every room. I run the heater between 62 and 68 degrees because this place warms up quick ... heater is really efficient. I ran the air-conditioner a lot during the summer, but didn't notice any crazy rates on my electric bill.

Tour information: I work from 8:30 to 5 PM and sometimes late, so after 5 PM is best. I have a dog in the apartment, but he's 8 years old and very sweet - if allergies are a problem, let me know. Also, this place will be cleaned very well before I move out.

Kitchen:
A granite countertop in the kitchen, with 3M Corian sinks and counters.
Ceramic cooktop stove with built in over - heats up fast.
