Lacemakers LampI saw one at Lincoln’s New Salem museum and made this one. They were used to project a beam of collimated light from a candle onto a working area. Mine has four beams 90 degrees apart and pleasingly projects the beams all the way across a room. The glass globes are filled with water and act like giant lenses to project a collimated image of the candle flame onto the room walls.
