The Hoyer is Vive brand, purchased from Amazon in 2025. The chair lift is Vevor/Maidesite brand, never used, still in the box.
The walker is Drive brand.
Hoyer lift - $500
Electric chair lift - $200
Rolling walker - $20
The Hoyer lift moves a person from bed to wheelchair, or commode. It's also extremely useful for lifting a disabled person, or dementia patient, who has fallen and can't get up.
The chair lift is meant to move people up to a sitting position after they've fallen, and can't get up.
Most Hoyer lifts require electricity, usually a large rechargeable battery. This one is powered by a hydraulic pump. It does not require electricity, nor strength.
The Hoyer is suitable for people with dementia, quadraplegia, or both. You will use it every day to transfer your elderly parent/spouse, etc. It comes with a single sling. I will sell you an extra divided-leg sling (for toileting) for $20. They are washable. You will, in fact, wash them regularly. Perhaps daily, after each use.
The Hoyer and rolling walker are assembled, but can be disassembled. Your choice. The Hoyer, if not disassembled, would need to be transported in the back of a pick-up truck. (I do not have a pick-up truck. My neighbor's amiable son does. He's a college student.)
