Looking for an experienced carpenter for project-based residential remodel and repair work in Champaign / Urbana and surrounding areas.
This is for someone who already knows the trade. We are not looking for beginners or people who are trying to learn on the job.
Possible work may include:
- Framing repairs and small buildouts
- Trim, casing, baseboard, and finish carpentry
- Door installation and adjustment
- Window trim and interior/exterior trim details
- Punch-list repairs and remodel support
Must have:
- Real carpentry experience
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools and power tools for your trade
- Ability to show recent work photos
- Good communication
- Ability to work clean and finish details properly
Helpful but not required:
- Ability to handle drywall patches, paint touchups, or light demo
- Availability for short-notice project work
- Ability to work in Champaign, Urbana, Savoy, Mahomet, Rantoul, Tolono, St. Joseph, Philo, and nearby areas
