NOW, ABOUT THIS ITEM:

This is a less powerful model of the other I have for sale so it will be slower

HP ProBook 6565b AMD A4-3310MX APU 2.1 GHz 4 GB RAM 200+ GB HDD 15.6" WIN 10 PRO WiFi, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google Chrome, Libre Office Suite

$25 FIRM. Be realistic. You can't get a computer repaired for this small amount so firm means firm. No resellers. This is intended for someone who really needs it.

And please stop looking for something for nothing and READ. I really shake my head at those of you thinking you are going to buy a gaming or Windows 11 laptop for $25 bucks.. Everything you need to know is in this listing, including the pictures.

WARNING: Be careful when someone tries to sell you a low cost laptop with Windows 11. You are going to spend $150 to $200 for a used true Windows 11 compatible laptop. If it is being sold cheaper, then it is usually not a Windows 11 laptop and somebody forced the upgrade to get you to buy it. You will see these being sold with Windows 11 forced on them. That s not something I will do because it will only cause problems in the long run.

I have a few of these that were retired from service at my my work and completely reset and clean, works fine, battery holds charge, comes with charger. Is in a commercial business case heavier than cheaper built home laptops.

Does not include a built in web cam but you can always add a USB one cheaply. It can hold up to 16gb RAM and you can also swap out the regular hard drive with an SSD which will make it run even faster.

This is a good laptop for anyone needing to look up things online, check email, or do reports or school work on a budget. You can also watch DVDs.

This is not a gaming laptop so save your money to buy something more expensive if that is what you are looking for.

For those of you who admit to being technology challenged, let me give you an example of what you can do with this laptop.

If you only want to use this model to check email, lookup things online, watch YouTube videos, watch a DVD, and use the free office suite program to write papers, this will do just fine.

If you want to do heavier things like streaming or play a lot of music, you definitely want to up this to 8GB RAM so that it does not slow down a lot on you. If you do end up increasing the RAM, you can add a USB camera and have no problem using it as a video chat device depending on the requirements of the app.

Also if you are the kind that opens up a lot of windows trying to multitask, this one cannot handle a whole lot of that. There are also some things you can't just go out online and load this up with. So be reasonable and don't try to treat a $25 computer like a $250 computer and this will do you just fine.
